Singer Leah Dou is about to hold her first concert in Hong Kong, marking the perfect finale to her year-long 'Out of Control' world tour. The tour started in Mainland China last year and has since traveled to over ten cities, including Singapore, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, London, and Paris. The final chapter will take place on October 4 at the Macpherson Stadium in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Hong Kong is the place where Leah grew up and where her career as a musician began. This time, she has specially chosen Hong Kong as the grand finale, and has prepared a surprise for her Hong Kong fans, promising to sing Cantonese songs during the concert to show her special affection for her Hong Kong audience.
Talking about this world tour, Leah has truly sung across half the globe! Leah candidly shared, 'This tour has taken me to many places, and each destination offers a unique cultural experience and feeling.' Aside from work, Leah looks forward to exploring local cuisines, thanks to a foodie colleague in her team who always leads them to delicious treats.
Since its inception in Mainland China in 2024, the 'Out of Control' tour has captivated fans worldwide with its unique musical style. The stage design, featuring a tilted platform and moving large screens, creates a visual spectacle that perfectly complements Leah's lazy and ethereal vocals. The creative music arrangement, coupled with live performances of hand drums, theremin, guitar, and other instruments, immerses the audience in a multi-sensory experience. The content has been enhanced through the global journey, now featuring a brand-new setlist, arrangements, and artwork.
Leah's 'non-conforming, non-defining' musical attitude shines through in every song she delivers with sincerity. Her voice can be both gentle and unrestrained, a unique quality that touches the hearts of her audience. This concert is not just the endpoint of the tour but also an exploration of the essence of music. In an era of labels, she uses music to untangle thoughts and sing to all souls 'who feel they don't belong but are always on the road.'
